      The GOP's support is most prominent among older white people, who are, you know, dying off. Younger white people, on the other hand, are not going to be too keen to support a racially inflammatory party.

        The younger contingent of Republicans are more social liberals and fiscal conservatives. They're not against immigration reform because most of them probably know someone who is a Dreamer, or they support LGBT equality  because they know someone who is gay.

          not "fiscal conservatives," and for the nation as a whole. The divorcing of procorporate ideology from traditional racism, theocracy, etc. will tend to increase corporate domination and economic inequality. I'm glad some young Republicans don't hate gays and people of color as much as their parents, but I don't want them in my party.
