  •  Except pre-bronze age societies were not as (5+ / 0-)

    unjust an unequal.  It's a controversial theory but there is evidence to support the claim that pre-bronze age societies were not as unequal.  Not to say that they were "paradise lost" or anything like that but there was a shift to more top-down stratified societies post bronze age.

      As civilization has progressed, wealth has progressed, and that has lead to the accumulation of wealth by those with the ability to accumulate it (generally the warrior class). Power and money linked early and have stayed linked though the forms of each has changed over time.
