    here but I think most left during one of the I/P battles. This community is now much worse off.

      the persistance of the Egyptian people taking it in their own hands to correct what they see as their revolution going off track.  But as far as any detailed knowledge of the process going on there -- I don't have it and I don't know where to find it.  Yet this is one of the places where the future of the Middle East is being shaped.

        I follow a couple people on Twitter who have been posting stuff about what is happening in Egypt and the surrounding area, though even the folks I follow assume that people have at least some knowledge of Egyptian politics.

        I sometimes forget that I've actually taken classes on modern Egypt history and so am far more familiar with its political processes than most Americans.

        to connect with Al Jazeera. They seem to have the biggest presence inside Egypt.
