  •  I have a solution to both your revulsion (0+ / 0-)

    and your eyesight issues.

    Don't read the diaries.

    Simple, isn't it?

    •  But when he's prominent on the front page, (0+ / 0-)

he's hard to ignore...  Although one solution is to just not visit Daily Kos much, which has actually been helpful.  In any case, while I appreciate it, what you suggest already occurred to me, and was kind of what I was saying.

I would ask that you consider if comments like this one are part of the problem on this site.

reeks of GBCW, which is bannable if posted in a diary, at the very least.

Hence, my reply.  Sorry if it hurts your fee-fees.  More to come below re your second comment.

        •  Also, your comment (0+ / 0-)

reminded me that I have just as much right to be here as anyone else.... including you.  So maybe I just have to come here often and be ready to disagree with Tom Tomorrow, and not apologize for it.  So basically, your comment had the opposite effect of what you intended; instead of discouraging me, as you wanted to, I'm going to come here more often in the near future, and be more vocal.  Thanks very much!

          •  Nobody is disputing your right (0+ / 0-)

            to be here.

What you don't have is a right to demand that DKos conform to your wishes, which is essentially what you are doing.

          •  You haven't "disagreed" (0+ / 0-)

with TT.  You posted a content-free emotional outburst stating that you were "so very sick and tired" of TT and TMW.  When Aspe4 asked you why, which was a perfectly reasonable response to your comment, you first took obvious offense at even being asked the question, stating that you don't owe an explanation, which itself is hilarious -- you apparently expect your emotional outbursts to be accepted at face value, without any substantiation or explanation on your part, and without being questioned by anyone else.  I'm not sure what makes you think you have some kind of special right not to be questioned, but that kind of petulance and belligerence on your part doesn't help you one bit.

Then, in lieu of an actual explanation containing, you know, facts, reasoning and evidence, you made vague assertions about how you "find" TT to be "condescending" and "elitist" -- without ever stating the reasons or providing examples of why this is so.  I note with interest that this is a charge that was regularly leveled by rightwingers against a certain Democratic Presidential candidate in 2008, and for the same reason you are doing it -- because they lacked anything of substance with which to oppose or argue with him.

And then you started in with your GBCW bullshit about how you were going to visit DKos less in the future, apparently because it doesn't conform to your personal standards and demands.  As I noted above, feel free not to visit if that's how you feel.

You have every right to be here and every right to disagree with TT and TMW. You have no right, however, to expect your "disagreements" to go unquestioned by others, especially when they are as substance-free as this one was.   And when you post bullshit, you can expect to have people call bullshit on you.   That's how it works.  If you don't like it, the door's right over there.
