    to take seriously. I need you to tell me what to believe and damn the facts! Is Morsi a hero or a traitor? Was the Islamic Brotherhood right in banning scissor kicks? Are the pyramids an affront to Allah and circles? I need to know!

    Seriously, though, thanks for the timeline. It's very helpful to those of us who get out foreign news in drips and drabs due to the overwhelming amount of domestic news we need to keep up with. This clearly contradicts the NYT's recent op-ed decrying the coup, by demonstrating that Morsi had long since lost any constitutional legitimacy to stay in power.

    If only the Germans had been this brave in 1933. Some were, but not enough.

        Godwin simply doesn't apply, and it's best to err on the side of caution than the side of offending the internet decorum and CT police.

        Because, of course, the middle east has no recent history of brutal tyrannical oppression of its people, other than Syria, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Libya...
