  •  I don't grasp the point of stuff like this: (0+ / 0-)
And if that's still not enough, well, we'll rule that it's legal to install flaming obstacle courses in front of polling stations in low-income and minority voting districts!  How about some spiked rollers, snake pits, and trap doors leading into meat grinders?  How about giving corporations a direct vote?

Yeah, you think I'm joking, don't you?

    One can only hope.

by major margins, the Supreme Court not long after coincidentally decides to "reexamine" some sweeping aspect of American law that the GOP finds inconvenient and invariably rules 5-4 against it.  What happens next is that Republicans perform far better.  So then we up the ante ours and win again, causing the GOP to once again go to the Supreme Court and demand further restrictions.  I'm saying they won't stop until we don't have a veto at all.

Look, if you want to try to convince us that Citizens United was a major factor in the 2010 midterm outcome, this has not been the way to go about it. Really I think that should be obvious. I don't know what else to say. Believe it or not, I don't have a vested interest in denying it.
