    It's what code of honor they are upholding. And who they are being honorable towards.

      for some at least there is no "honor" independent of their accumulation and control of power and wealth, and anything in contradiction to that is not merely to be ignored, but to be actively subverted.

      I see nothing "honorable" in that.
