    ... an unimpeachable source, but if someone were wondering about Nugent's financial irresponsibility towards his progeny, that might be a place to start; plus there's some footnotes sourcing some of the details if one wanted to follow up on what's there.

      I should have done my due diligence.    I did find the following at Wiki:

      In 2005 Nugent was involved in a legal battle for not paying enough child support for a child he had out of wedlock in 1995.  It was finally resolved when Nugent was ordered to pay $3,500 per month in child support.
      That's 10 years of less than full support.  

      I do apologize for generalizing about a total fool such as Nugent. However, due to the fact that we find R's hypocritical on well, most things...
