    of believing this administration can change. they are bound to the politically expedient, not the courageous or heroic. of course its a humanitarian tragedy the number of people in prison, guantanomo, state or federal.

    drones are a cost effective way of generating enough new terrorists that calls to cut military spending will fail.

      Whether or not this administration can change, what the last five years has shown is that change of administration does not entail change of policies. Rhetorical spin alters, symbols shift, but the stakeholders who benefit from current policies have captured the policy making process. They are too entrenched and too powerful to overcome.

      Does any administration have the power to change some of this?    And, if they tried, would they be assassinated?   By those same "security" forces that they were trying to reform?

      OK.   I guess my tin foil hat fits like a glove.   But, I do wonder.
