  •  Hi Kate, (6+ / 0-)

Thanks for putting another meet up together.   I am not sure I can make that date; but if it is possible, I would love to come.  It was so nice meeting all of you at Pasquales, and I am eager to learn more about NN14 in Detroit.

I think Ann Arbor sounds awful.  Add in the middle of the art fair and hell would be a good description.     What is the extended edge of the Detroit region?   Livingston? Oakland?   Washtenaw?     It would be nice to pick something in the middle for the east siders, but I will defer to whatever decisions you make.   Since I'm not even sure I can make it, I'll just say thank you and shut up.

so I will cross my fingers that you'll be able to attend this time around.

Our official boundaries are pretty expansive and fluid. We have people as far north as the Flint area (so, Genesee County), and others as far east as the extreme edge of Macomb County, Detroit city residents, downriver residents from Monroe County, and some far-west-siders in or near Lansing (Ingham County). The western pull is partly why we haven't had anything on the true east side of town yet.

I'd be just as happy to return to the place where we met last November, Sophia's in Novi (or thereabouts), but I figure we can be more imaginative than that. Especially with the potentially fine summer weather to enjoy....

Some DKos series & groups worth your while: Black Kos, Native American Netroots, KosAbility, Monday Night Cancer Club. If you'd like to join the Motor City Kossacks, send me a Kosmail.
