    the US followed Hamilton's strategy after all.  It sounds rather precisely.

    People, and it would mostly be Americans, of any interested party, that don't know this history are exactly those that don't get Morales's anger over the stopping of his plane.  It's 19th-century gunboat diplomacy, and Latin America has always been at the wrong end of that stick.  That is a fact, and one which Morales will naturally be very conscious of.
