    Thanks for giving me at least an estimate of its value. I knew only what I bought it for and whom, and when.

    Look how the prices of the late Kirk Smith's work took off after he walked on. If Mr. Singer decides to take a well-earned retirement, his pieces will likely do the same.

    And if you guys still have that bolo, I ought to see where I can scare up the money, if I can.

      is SO very different that I've wondered if it's because of his age - if he's maybe having trouble with arthritis or something that's making it too difficult to do things in his trademark bold style.  Because it really is a very substantial departure.  I do hope he's around for a lot of years yet, though.

      As to the bolo, we till have it.  The list price on that is, I think, somewhere in the area of $1,800-$2K, IIRC.  (Which is different from yours, obvs.)
