enough internecine Dem. political power to reform the filibuster? Harry seems hell bent on subverting any attempts at changing how this procedural rule is being abused. He's rather cut dirty deals with The Turtle. The Dems sucked at being the loyal opposition during the Bush regime and they suck worse at being the majority.  Since 2006 onward, they have blown off not only the House majority and ceded power to the Republicans.

I think the best we can hope for is reforming the nominating/confirmation process which never has been subjected to being obstructed in this manner.

But maybe if the Senate Democrats see that they can actually make their lives easier by getting the president's nominees through, they'll realize they can do the same with legislation.
That's just a hope though. Given their (less than brave) history such a scenario is doubtful at best.

keep at it and that's a good thing. He really is a better Dem. I've never had a representative that when we call or write addresses our issues, questions and responds with updates and encourages us to keep calling and working. He seems like he's not easily discouraged and will stand up against the intrenched Dem. power wielding pols in DC.
