    ... identical to the one I got months ago when I complained about inaction and then minimal action on the filibuster rule and procedural reform. NOTHING CONTINUES TO CHANGE.

    I suspect Reid is holding several votes in the bag, his sub-leadership team first and foremost among them, and he will not let them go. For reasons which escape me.

    Reid, Schumer and Durbin should be getting regular office visits on the Hill about this. (Back home offices are OK, but that's not where the sophisticated staffers are with whom you can expect to reason things through.) In person constituent contact is what they need to feel. If one is not a constituent, go to the office with one and press our case.

    This is how the pros do it. These guys are not feeling heat from their voters on this.

         And write snail mail letters to them as well. This represents an opportunity for the Senate to actually get something done, paltry though it may be.
