Liu was my first choice but I'm not sure he can pull it off.

I was disappointed that he would keep NYPD in the schools. He's not supportive of arts funding for the schools either. Disappointed in his transportation policy too.

He also likes the mayor's testing ideas for schools. I don't think we need THAT much testing. He's the only Democrat who is this conservative on schools.

Then there are the transportation issues. It's been hard to pin him down, but we could really use some of those public plazas that they have in times square in here the south bronx! But, he seems to be against everything that the DOT has done.

The DOT has been the most effective city agency under Bloomberg and it's really the best thing Bloomy has done. Schools and the NYPD sucked-- but, for once, things have gotten safer on the sidewalks... just too much in the rich parts of Brooklyn and manhattan.

If only we could get some attention in the Bronx. We did get a few bike lanes, it's a start.

And Weiner's judgement... well, that's not the biggest issue for me, I don't care about sex that much but it has made me think twice about his ability to be discrete and smart.

On what issues is he stronger than then other dems? I'm not seeing an upside to Weiner.
