I wish I could spread access services wider.  That is why I've been a proponent of municipal fiber for so long.  Yet I don't have much optimism about that idea taking hold nationwide.  I find it ironic that we have spent over a billion dollars on this Bluffdale NSA Data Center, and yet we wouldn't spend the same kind of money on nationwide municipal fiber.  If you had the choice, what would you buy?

We also do email/web hosting, colocation, VPS (cloud), and shell services, to anyone, anywhere.

I don't have to give that choice a second thought. I just can't accept that we allow a select few to stand in the way of progress in our country in the name of "capitalism".  The government has used its power to benefit greed over the people at every turn.

who this reply was from -- I had learned earlier that you were a member here. Glad to see you.

Regarding expansion, I certainly understand your constraints, but hey, I can remain hopeful, right?

As I said in a comment above I admire what you're doing, and I wish you success.

And please, PLEASE, if you can find time, post on Daily Kos more. Your perspective is very valuable.

Thanks again, and I look forward to hearing more about your efforts in the future. :)

Somebody has to do something, and it's just incredibly pathetic that it has to be us.
