  •  Born and raised in Trenton, NJ...Katzenbach... (4+ / 0-)

...is, and historically has been, one of the biggest names in the community for generations. Home (stomping grounds) of Johnson administration Attorney General Nicholas Katzenbach, "The Unsung Hero Of America's Desegregation."

It is great to see it at the forefront of this truly draconian and egregious civil rights issue!

Also...nice to see the great name associated with the management of the City!!! And, yes, it's one of the few remaining bastion's of labor unionism left in America. Nowadays, a very small city, it STILL has TWO DAILY newspapers. (Always has been unusual in that regard, nowadays, moreso than ever.) And, folks wonder why I'm a Progressive Democrat, and why I've been involved in the media for the better part of my life?!?

    •  Proud union tradition in Trenton! (4+ / 0-)

Here's how the New York Tx of July 10, 1903 described it:

...as Trenton is one of the most solid union cities in the United States quit a sum of money was collected to aid "the army" on its march to New York...

God spare me the Heart to fight them... I'll fight the Pirates forever. -Mother Jones
