  •  Good diary, Garrett. (8+ / 0-)

I missed it or I would have commented. Taking the decision as whole, I don't hold out a lot of hope for the Plaintiffs.

Sadly, the lack of any comments in your diary - in spite of a bunch of recs - indicates just how disinterested people are in the law surrounding this issue, which is strange considering that, ultimately, it's an evolving legal issue that has been and continues (and needs) to be addressed by Congress and the courts.

Out with the gloomage - in with the plumage!

    •  That's maybe too cynical mikidee (9+ / 0-)

It is a complex story for many of us layman. I think the power structure takes serious advantage of that complexity from a public relations point of view. Garrett's diary is also so thorough, it engenders a sort of 'where do I start' mindset after wading through all the content.

For all these reasons, the distillation of the complex issues by lucid writing JDs here on DKos provides an incredibly valuable service in making us informed citizens. Keep writing about it folks.

May the Conservative Supremes share Paula Deen's heart-stopping culinary tastes as much as they share her cultural ones.

Seems that all NSA has to do is drop a few minor state secrets in there, and voila', the whole matter can't be litigated.

So if you get hit by a bus tonight, would you be satisfied with how you spent today, your last day on earth? Live like tomorrow is never guaranteed, because it's not. -- Me.
