    My father's friends used to live in Travelers Rest, and we went to their farm all the time when I would visit during the summers when I was little.

    The erratic pattern of storm movement usually comes from weak or non-existent steering in the atmosphere. If there isn't a uniform flow to move the storms in one direction, they can move willy nilly (or not at all).

    The constant rain is a result of the deep, unstable tropical air moving across the east. It's a rainy summer.

    If you say "gullible" real slow, it sounds like "green beans."

      Well, actually, it's like the steering currents have reversed. Which freaks me out. Just such a distinct and complete turnaround from what we normally have.
