believing Zimmerman murdered Trayvon.  I still believe that.  But, if I'm being honest with myself, I didn't see the prosecution prove this beyond a reasonable doubt.  The prosecution has been going backwards from the opening statement.  They had me believing they would prove that Zimmerman started the physical altercation, that Trayvon was screaming for help, and that Zimmerman was never reasonably in fear of serious injury.  Now the defense is basically given up most of those arguments and are back to, "Zimmerman caused all of this by getting out of the car".  While I agree with that argument, I don't think that proves beyond a reasonable doubt Zimmerman didn't fear for his life when he shot.

I still don't understand how far apart the prosecution is from their opening statement to where they are now.  They allowed the defense to create a Zimmerman personal account of everything that night, without ever creating a Trayvon personal account.  To me, that is the reason Zimmerman will walk.  Trayvon's side of the encounter was never offered.  Certainly his death prevented much of that, but Zimmerman got to tell his story without ever testifying. Why couldn't the prosecution do the same for Trayvon.  I hope I'm wrong, but I won't blame the jury if they feel differently about Trayvon's death.
