Is there any evidence of Zimmerman slide tackling or attempting to slide tackle Martin? Like actual grass stains on the pants/jacket?

as the defense video. I wonder if there were bushes in the defense video.

I wonder if they show the punching speed of 25 punches being thrown. That is Muhammad Ali in his prime.

PS you don't get grass stains from a slide tackle on a sidewalk, however you can bop your head against the sidewalk.

You want grass stains and are completely at home ignoring injuries sustained. If the slide tackle wasn't on the grass, there wouldn't be grass stains would there?

      •  Any scuff marks, rips, holes, marks on his pants? (3+ / 0-)

To suggest he attempted to slide tackle Martin on cement?

        •  Don't know - do you? Don't see a link to pristine (0+ / 0-)

pants. Much would depend on the pant material. Carheartts not so much. Silk bolero ripped to shreds.

          •  The defense's website provided photos ... (0+ / 0-)

of all the evidence, including GZ's pristine pants and TM's pants showing mud and grass stains at the knees.

            •  Didn't see the pictures. TM got flipped into the (0+ / 0-)

grass with my theory. GZ's pants were sturdy enough to withstand a slide on the sidewalk? Were they Carhartts? or silk boleros? Would like to see them?

              •  Photos have to be downloaded ... (0+ / 0-)

from the official website to be viewed.  Go to the link, then scroll down to the entry titled "80 photographs of evidence taken by the Defense at FDLE on August 8, 2012" in the bottom half of the page.

                •  I did that but for some reason I couldn't get (0+ / 0-)

them to download. No big deal. You would have to look at the fibers to see if they slid along the concrete.

This will all be gone over and over and over in the appeal.

                  •  You probably did download the file ... (0+ / 0-)

but may not have realized it was compressed and needed to be uncompressed before the contents could be viewed.  It's possible you could find the same images on a different website using Google Images, but I haven't tried that.

As to any appeal, no, the evidence itself (the clothing and other things) will not be reviewed by the Court of Appeals.  Appeals are generally limited to looking only at whether the judge made any errors in her rulings.  The only way the evidence would be reviewed again is if there is a new trial, in which case the next jury would get to look at the items.  Questions of "fact" (whether the pants or jacket were abraded) are determined by juries only (or, to be more precise, when a defendant requests a trial by judge only and there is no jury).

            •  GZ's pants aren't pristine. They are worn. (0+ / 0-)

I wonder if there are pieces of sidewalk grit in them. You would have to have more than a picture to know that.

facial scuffs to support the slide tackle on cement. Trayvon on top. Scrambles to get away. Grass stains on clothing (Trayvon). Z stands up and shoots Trayvon who is screaming and disoriented.

          •  No grass or scruff marks on the killer's jacket- (0+ / 0-)

or pants.  Just his shoes per photo evidence shown today.

Something new that I learned today-the hoody string photo...one side pulled waay longer than the other.....

Power point presentation plus Bernie (prosecution) was very high impact & dealt with the evidence & testimony present......

All neatly tied up with a bow.  Well done!

            •  The photos of GZ jacket show ... (0+ / 0-)

scuff marks which were so pronounced that some resulted in holes.  I didn't see whether they were shown to the jury during the trial, but I assume they must have been.  I also didn't see whether the jury was shown TM's pants, with pronounced mud and grass stains on their knees, but assume they must have been shown as well.
