not interested in important concessions because it damages the argument that the bill "Glorifies the Insurance Business". It's illogical to think that the bill glorifies them, yet they had to give up concessions they had always refused giving up.

We have existed for almost a hundred years as a nation before this bill was passed, and, in all this time, no one has been able to pass the so called "progressive" bill... I am wondering just what are these "progressives" waiting for....

    •  I'm waiting for the United States to actually (0+ / 0-)

like the United States. So far, we've done a pretty bad job of that. Now, if you want to argue about that, well, good luck. You won't have many supporters. Though I'm sure Obama, a former Kossack, would we happy to help except he's otherwise occupied making sure every phone call you make is recorded.

I resent that. I demand snark, and overly so -- Markos Moulitsas.

      •  Ok, we've gone from healthcare to Obama recording (0+ / 0-)

our phone calls. Obama destroying real "progressive" healthcare to Obama invading our privacy....

Obama, Obama, Obama, just as on the Right, Obama and all the so called bad things he is doing. This becomes so boring after a while. Did you noticed the President enjoys high approval rating with most Democrats and Progressives, as opposed to the "real"progressives? Don't worry, in about three plus years Obama will no longer be in office, then all your political wish lists will magically appear.

Obama all the time.... The source of all our ills.

        •  I think, Ned, we should be more careful (0+ / 0-)

          about whom we elect.

that is why Barack Obama is in office today. See, if it were up to you and your fellow "Obama is the source of all our ills" folk  Mitt Romney would be in office today....

            •  Nope. I voted for him. His sorry ass. (0+ / 0-)

He reminds me of Clinton. Every day he does.

              •  You know, I could never vote for someone whom I (0+ / 0-)

referred to as a "sorry ass." Could it be that the Obama supporters are more serious about their politics and their votes than the Obama haters?

Most of us voted for the President because he passed a healthcare bill that will give tens of millions of people access to health care, we voted for him because he increased fuel efficiency standards in automobiles, we voted for him because he extended Pell Grant for millions of students and gave them an opportunity to attend college, we voted for him because he made it possible for women to receive contraceptive care, we voted for him because he passed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, we voted for him because he helped to end DADT, we voted for him because he has spent more than any president in decades on issues that will improve the environment, we voted for him because he helped to stop the disparity in prison sentencing, which affected African Americans and Hispanics, we voted for him because he saved the automobile industry, and prevented the economy from falling into a a second Great Depression, we voted for him because he has spent more on programs for the poor than any President in decades, we voted for him because he placed two women on the Supreme Court....

You voted for him because he is a "sorry ass". That actually says a lot about you and many of your fellow Obama haters.

            •  go vote for a man that sounds likeWagner. (0+ / 0-)

matter if it rhymes. I vote for people who will make a positive difference in the lives of individuals, like passing a healthcare bill that is already helping MILLIONS! I vote for Barack Obama.
