where the police were visiting individual households; they hardly have the manpower to do that.  However, it's been known since before the trial began that black clergy were invited to, and did, attend the trial daily so that they could report what actually happened to their congregations rather than let hearsay lead to gross misunderstandings (which has happened a lot on DKos, surprisingly).

No one who has not actually watched at least 90% of the trial should consider themselves to be "informed", and would be wise to keep their opinions about it to themselves lest they truly want to embarrass themselves in front of those who actually have been keeping up and know what the evidence actually was, how it was presented, and how the whole case has played out.

And despite the predictions made hereinabove, no one with any sense will risk making a prediction until the case is truly over and the remainder of the closing arguments have been given.  Count me among the latter; it's still too early to say anything with any confidence at this point.

to back up what I say.....

      This is not inciting?

      Knock and Talk’
Many of the residents of the minority community were at odds with law enforcement facilities in close proximity to their neighborhood.

“To me it was a great step in building the community but as a people we tend to distrust the police for past deeds. I think it takes more than having an African-American police chief to squash the distrust. I think people need to believe that they can communicate with the police and not feel stereotyped by them. I think everyone in the town agrees that this is a tragedy and are just waiting for the case to be over,”
