bang up job of showing us all why they had a strongman dictator by killing each other off and driving large parts of their population out of their homes.

We shouldn't have gone there, and we certainly didn't do a great job setting up democracy, but we did let them elect their leaders, who promptly sidled up to Iran and just fueled their religious sectarian divisions.

defending Bush's war. But it was an aberration. Other than spanking Norega there had been no American wars of aggression since Vietnam. Reagan pulled some smelly shit in Central America but horrible as it was it was small potatoes compared to Cheney & co.

and their women testify as to why Europe was always invading the Ukraine. Their history parallels our own in many ways as they have subjugated their own fair share of  Indigenous peoples.

But if Putin can stick it to us he will.

You forgot to add America to the countries that China is appropriating businesses from  As for the Afghan's, that's really asking for it considering what the US has done and is still doing. Vietnam really? Hey Hey LBJ.  The 'Evil Empire' agitprop from that old commie hunter Reagan's speech writers. Your fear of commies straight out of the Cold War geopolitics. Don'tcha know we won. We're the only Superpower the new enemy is terrorist's 'who are gonna kill yer family'. The world is this endless war's  battlefield including Americans.

As for the Chinese and Russians draining his laptops here what Snowden and GG have to say. I'm sure the two anonymous Spook experts would never lie to the American public. If the Chinese and Russian really did drain his hard drives the spooks would not be out there blabbing about it. If his revelations are no biggie cause we all know that this goes on what's the big deal? Why would a s savvy  '29 year old hacker', a intelligence spook himself have the docs on his laptops anyway?

      http://www.guardian.co.uk/...

"I never gave any information to either government, and they never took anything from my laptops," he said.

The extraordinary claim that China had drained the contents of Snowden's laptops first appeared in the New York Times in a June 24 article. The paper published the claim with no evidence and without any attribution to any identified sources.

In lieu of any evidence, the NYT circulated this obviously significant assertion by quoting what it called "two Western intelligence experts" who "worked for major government spy agencies". Those "experts" were not identified. The article then stated that these experts "said they believed that the Chinese government had managed to drain the contents of the four laptops that Mr. Snowden said he brought to Hong Kong"

.... Obviously, Snowden's denial is not dispositive and shouldn't be treated as such. But it is the only actual evidence on this question thus far.
