    It's technically harder to collect just email metadata than collecting the entire message.  The metadata isn't separate - it's plain text at the start of every email message.  Just collecting metadata would require parsing each email and discarding the message portion.  I seriously doubt they bother doing that.

      Once you log in, Immersion will use only the From, To, Cc and Timestamp fields of the emails in the account you are signing in with. It will not access the subject or the body content of any of your emails.
      It may be harder, but it's MIT. Hard is what they do.

      a Gmail account.
      It's showing stuff from three jobs ago as hi-volume.
      I guess that means I've got very little to worry about.
