    awesome work you do with your students. This reminds me of Plato's question in Euthyphro... is an action pious because the Gods love it or do they love it because its pious?

    And also I am reminded of some police I knew many years ago who said justice is "just us."

    My own definition: justice is the condition between humans that we aspire to bring into being, hoping that our aspirations are inspired by God, but ever in doubt.

    The only thing required for evil to succeed is for good people to do nothing.
