    At the moment, all the words that start to form in my mind over this seem both obvious and pointless to say.

    Which is worse? That this shit happens in 2013 or that we have no credible strategy to stop it? Climate Change is going to bring ever-increasing social upheaval. Justice is only going to become harder to come by. I don't think we can vote our way out of this mess.

    I'm broken today. I just don't know what else to say.

      truth, and historical example seem to have no value in our public discourse; and there is no expectation of greater good over private privilege, how can you have a credible strategy to deal with any problem? Democracy must have the will not only to do what is right but to see it.
