      •  so let me get this straight. (6+ / 0-)

It's bullying to hide rate a racist rant calling for violence while quoting the most vile republican in congress who is also a financier of terrorism?

I suppose if people uprate it, then it's a stand against injustice?  That's your take?

Way to pick your battles and stand up for what's right.  And I do mean right.

It's only "racist" if you assume the antecedent = "muslims" rather than "terrorist groups". Thus "tortured reading."

As for quoting anybody, feel free to support your allegations.

But lets not play games.  People like doc2, who should have no credibility, can continue to call for violence, smear people, lie and.quote racist right wingers on this site because he is useful to the cause of changing the subject.  It's plainly obvious you care not about racism where Obama isn't involved.

it's plainly obvious you (and your like minded bretheren) care not about racism except inasmuch as it can be used as a weapon to shut down your opponents. One need look no further than the fact that you almost unanimously turn a blind eye to racism when it's applied to the black guy you don't like (Obama, Holder) as proof.

If I thought for a minute doc2 meant Muslims or Arabic peoples in general, I'd never uprate the comment and would probably pile-on the donut pile too. But people with a mind to bully want to find the most offensive interpretation of any remark, so a pronoun with an unspecific antecedent gives them all the opportunity they need to do what they love to do.

You are the one who uprates racist calls for violence.  Own it.

And he sure as hell didn't mean skinheads or militia types.

and I have no idea what you're talking about. One person had the nerve to HR the comment, and others saw the opportunity and jumped in. Happens all the time around here. And then you show up with the race card. Don't you folks have families or anything, it's Sunday. Do something better with your lives.

Not Muslims, not brown peoples -- terrorists. It was pretty obvious.

And since by definition terrorists mean to commit murder, it's pretty fucking weaksauce to wring one's hands about "calls to violence" against those who intend to do the same.

The racism is in the one who equates 'terrorists' with Muslims -- which ain't doc2, and ain't me -- that would be you. I recognize that in this country, terrorism knows more than one religion -- Christianity most of all in the last 150 years.

        •  Racism? (0+ / 0-)

I get it. When you don't like something you read, even if it has nothing to do with race or racism, call it racism! Of course, that is demeaning to people actually subject to racism, but so what!

    •  HRing because you hate someone (0+ / 0-)

is the new de rigueur for this site. And disagreeing with someone is enough to hate him.
