    For much of our history, but the arc was slowly bending toward justice.  That bent has been stopped in its tracks and reversed for people of color, women, and for all where money or the Surveillance State are involved.

    I don't trust the courts to dispense justice on these issues, and with ample reason.  The notion of pretending that it's fair to say an individual who exposes the greed and hypocrisy of the powerful will ever get justice from the United States (or about any nation) is absurd.

    The sooner we become one nation among many, tending our own garden, the sooner we become truly exceptional.
