  •  Gasses? You don't know what you're talking about. (5+ / 0-)

The color of the sky is the result of the commensalism between the Hinge Fish - that great and powerful denizen of the deep whose only weakness is the tendency for its iron-rich jaws to rust - and the Blue Fish.  As we know, the Blue Fish secretes an oil that keeps the Hinge Fish's jaws from rusting closed; while not really gaining anything itself other than the release of pressure in its oil ducts.

And of course the Blue Fish's oil is the most concentrated blue dye known in all of nature and it is the reflection off the blue-dyed water that colors the sky.

Even as their numbers dwindle in that part of the Pacific Ocean that is their habitat, due to the Great Plastic Gyre of man's pollution, their numbers are calculated to keep the oceans blue for at least the next 500 years.

What kind of crap are you trying to push here?

    Gasses, my ass.  Uh...

It ain't called paranoia - when they're really out to get you. 6 points.
