    there is that. but no, not here. so it can be exciting to me all the same.

    I freeze the pesto. It freezes well. Doesn't can well since you don't cook it til you use it. Of course to make the pesto that requires getting off my duff and walking back into the kitchen...

    I just got all of the tomatoes into the pot and peeled and all that. So they are on their own from here until they go into the jar and into the freezer tomorrow AM. But these tomatoes are for the guy who owns the garden I'm sitting for. I did a batch for myself 2 days ago and I need to do another one soon.
