Neither white women nor black people of either gender have "ground" under this particular belief system. I think we all know who the "ground" belongs to.

    Diary was about this case

A Florida woman who fired warning shots against her allegedly abusive husband has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Marissa Alexander of Jacksonville had said the state's "Stand Your Ground" law should apply to her because she was defending herself against her allegedly abusive husband when she fired warning shots inside her home in August 2010.

That was done by the same prosecutor who "lost?" in the Zimmerman case.

Florida State Attorney Angela Corey's happy smiles as she addressed the media after her team lost its case against George Zimmerman have raised comments on social media with many wondering on Twitter whether she realized that her team just lost.
Observers on Twitter are puzzled and wondering why the state attorney was "smiling like she just won the Super Bowl and is about to head to nearby Disney World," as Twitchy puts it.

It was like a football team that had just gotten totally shellacked, and the head coach is standing up there thanking all those who fumbled the ball, for trying their best.

      Reeks of something.

They all were willing to put their lives on hold, to take on this assignment? Give me a freakin' break. It was their job.

I know she was probably trying to be neutral and even handed and fair, but there were just too many lame platitudes and I got the distinct impression she was already campaigning for some future election.

Made me want to barf every time one of them gushed about what a great criminal justice system we have.
