and here's my opinion as an outsider:

    1) Brownsberger is a total empty suit, very robotic and from what you're telling me, way too conservative for the seat. I would not like him as

    2) Koutoujian totally looks a bit like Alec Baldwin, to start off. He seems like the "moderate" candidate in the race, and seems a "bread-and-butter" type. If it were a less liberal state, I think I'd like him as the nominee. Since it's Mass... we can do better. He'd be my 2nd choice.

    3) Katherine Clark... eeeh she seems like a bit of an empty suit as well. Is she the Emily's List candidate? Doesn't seem to have a lot of ideas. Forgettable.

    4) Spilka seems a bit better than Clark and Bronwsberger, but not that much. Animal rights isn't one of my big issues, and I just don't believe her when she says she can work with House Republicans (not that we can work with them at the moment, but the fact that her statement didn't seem believable out of context is troubling).

    5) I'm liking Sciortino. Very progressive, though his soft-spoken tone is distracting. I wouldn't want him yelling or anything, but show some passion! I do get a Ben McAdams vibe from him though, which is good. Ben McAdams in my state is one of my heroes. Sciortino would be my first choice.
