I always imagined Mirror Tom Jensen attaches Agonizers to his interns and uses them whenever he gets back the results of a poll that he doesn't like.

And so you die LordMike, and we all move up in rank!  No one will question the assassination of a poster who mistakes you're for your.

(I've seen that episode far too many times).

The waste of lives, potential, resources, time. I submit to you that your polling organization is illogical because it cannot endure. I submit that you are illogical to be a willing part of it.

HARPER: You have one minute and twenty three seconds.

If change is inevitable, predictable, beneficial, doesn't logic demand that you be a part of it?

HARPER: One pollster cannot summon the future.

But one pollster can change the present. Be the captain of this polling enterprise, Mister Spock. Find a logical reason for doing an accurate poll and make it stick. Push till it gives. You can defend yourself better than any man in the polling fleet.

SCOTT: Captain, get in the chamber!

            What about it, Harper?

HARPER: A man must also have the power.

In the real Tom Jensen's cabin is a device that will make your polling invincible.

            HARPER: Indeed?

What will it be? Past or future? Tyranny or freedom? It's up to you.

            HARPER: It is time.

In every revolution in polling, there's one man with a vision.

HARPER: Captain Kirk, I shall consider it.
