      As I recall, the constitution states that nothing shall interfere with the president's power to pardon. I recall a legal article that touched on it being a possible constitutional crisis if the president pardoned himself.

      I do NOT want to imagine the ruckus that would happen if W had pardoned himself as his last presidential action around 11am january 20, 2009. Just the surface consequences make me feel queasy.
