I was much beyond teen angst time when I watched "MY So-Called Life' but regretted its cancellation nonetheless.  It was an interesting series about family interaction and addressed some important societal questions.  One thing which surprised me was that Kaley Cuocco, of "Big Bang Theory" fame, performed in one of the episodes.  Sometimes it's amazing the actors who develop from critically well received series in spite of the networks' shortsightedness.

Another series which got axed too soon was Space:  Above and Beyond.  My spouse and I have never understood why a network like SF hasn't tried to revive this series a la Battlestar Galactica.  Someday, some network executive will, as the Silicates from Space used to say, "Take a chance."
