I have too many trees for satellite reception to work.  And now they tell me that Comcast is giving $30 million to get Corbett reelected in the state than is next to where I live.  I am dismayed.

to not have TV at all, rather than give money to Comcast for their poor service. That they plan on givng money to Corbett only recements the decision. May their money be a fantastic waste.

satellite wouldn't work (in fact, our roof has been determined to be far too shady for solar panels), but it worked just fine. I only changed to FIOS because I got a better deal. But now I'm going to switch back to satellite because FIOS has become FIO$. Can't believe our monthly bill. And then the bureaucracy at Verizon is awful awful awful. (But the people who do the real work, the ones who come out to fix things if Verizon doesn't screw up the scheduling, have all been great. Of course, none of them like Verizon either. And they're members of the CWA union!).

While Democrats work to get more people to vote, Republicans work to ensure those votes won't count.
