  •  You flatter us (0+ / 0-)

with the belief that any complaining here does anything to move the party one way or the other.

Hit the bricks if  you want to make a difference.  No one on the Hill gives a shit about what goes on inside here....only what energy ends up on the front lines when it matters.

I think its certainly fair to be disappointed, but being disappointed in small victories like this is self-defeating.

Howl as we must when its necessary....this isn't one of those moments (and it won't matter anyway).  People in the streets...lots of 'em...that gets attention.

    •  Guess what: not only don't they care about "here" (0+ / 0-)

they don't much care ... make that "don't care a bit" ... about brick-hitting ... fund raising ... petition signing -- or ANY grass roots input that comes with "expectations" attached.

      •  I don't know of any movement (0+ / 0-)

that doesn't come (ever) without expectations.  I'm curious to know where you derive this idea from.  Movements may not have their expectations met, but hitting the bricks still makes a powerful impression.....e.g. Arab Spring/Turkey etc.

I'm also curious about your fund-raising comment.  Last time I looked, serious money still talks.

Its time the young people (I'm no longer one of them) take the country in the right direction.
