    just making sure we understand its limitations. It's a very qualified win.

    I don't think Obama is a weakling; I think he's way too eager to please everyone and show how Reasonable and Serious and Transpartisan he is. You know how much the Village will coo at him if he nominates someone that Wal-Mart doesn't hate to the NLRB. I'm not saying it's going to happen; I'm saying don't count your chickens just yet.

    Also, if I had a nickel for every time Senate Democrats were slapped in the face by Republicans and did nothing about it, well, I'd be able to buy a Senator. And even if they don't completely fold, to imagine there won't be another round of negotiations and, thus, compromises when the GOP reneges is to daydream.

    Or maybe not. Maybe the GOP will be too busy with some other bullshit to block the NLRB nominations, and they'll go through. Just, as I said. Careful with the chicken-counting.
