  •  Any Bets On The Hothead Zimmerman Doing It (8+ / 0-)

again. Sure there will be the inevitable taunts by others when he is seen in public. Will he feel threatened and stand his ground?

    •  He might do it again but (3+ / 0-)

the odds on him being in a position AGAIN to take out the only witness that could speak against him seem pretty astronomical,  IMO, so if he does I doubt he'll be able to lie his way out again.

Please don't incite hopes of anyone being harmed or killed.

Karma will have a field day with Zimmerman. He'll live in fear of his personal safety (much like young Trayvon Martin felt) everyday of his remaining time on this earth.

I'm not a religious person. I have studied many philosophies in my travels around this orb. The thing that is universal and binds everyone is the guest for the  opportunity to exist and hope our children live a better life than ours. That one simple wish is universal.

Treyvon's  parents have been robbed of that.  It's akin to having the last half of your life cancelled and nullified.

in some kind of violent act, whether it's because of his short-fused temper or because someone wanting to be seen as a 'tough guy' takes him on in a bar or a parking lot.

I'd try feeling sorry for what he's let himself in for, but he did it all to himself.

(Is it time for the pitchforks and torches yet?)

One of the reasons for locking people up is not just punishment but protecting society. I bring up the possibility to make the point that the justice system failed us in that regard in this case.
