  •  I'm sure when Hillary Clinton is campaigning (8+ / 0-)

in 2016, you'll hold her self-admitted past as a "Goldwater girl" against her as well.

People's views change; if that were never possible, what is the point of political debate? Greenwald has long since repudiated in early support of the Iraq war. He evolved...

as someone else famously did, on a different topic.

When you triangulate everything, you can't even roll downhill...

Greenwald was a grown man when he supported Bush's Iraq venture.  can people change? Sure, but I doubt Greenwald did.

"Valerie, why am I getting all these emails calling me a classless boor?"

on a number of factors, but I confess that "Goldwater Girl" won't be one of them. :)

My point was that Greenwald jumped from one extreme of trusting government implicitly to hating it implicitly, from one extreme that everything out of a President's mouth is to be taken as truth and based on sound judgment to the other extreme that everything out of a President's mouth is a lie and/or based on poor judgment (at best, evil intent at worst).

You'll have to forgive me for questioning the judgment of someone that makes such drastic jumps from one extreme to the opposite.  It's like someone else said in this thread, Greenwald sees everything as extremely black or extremely white.  The real world ain't like that.
