It's a damn shame you have such a kneejerk reaction to this, because your previous work has been good. This criticism of Rush is bullshit, especially when there are so many truly vile things to call him out on.

Are we going to see you start a boycott against John Oliver and Steven Colbert as well?

wasn't just the woman's reaction, it was the racist imitation Chinese names "Something's Wrong" "We're Too Low" and "Holy Fuck," which makes a joke out of a plane crashing and killing three kids.  If you think there's nothing wrong with that, that's fine.  I happen to think anyone who jokes about things like that is being a total douche.  That includes John Oliver and Colbert--it's not joke material.  Furthermore, anyone who defends them is being a douchenabler.

If you feel that strongly about it, consider ending the protracted sabbatical and writing a diary about it.

    •  John Oliver and Stephen Colbert are not Limbaugh (0+ / 0-)

John Oliver's coverage of this story on the Daily Show was vastly different than Rush Lmbaugh's.  Oliver reported it as an outrage and he seemed sincerely aghast (as was I when I read about it the day it happened).

Colbert's coverage was in a similar vein but with his usual faux republican schtick (I personally don't think that schtick worked very well on this).

Attempting to compare their coverage to that of Limbaugh reeks of false equivalence.
