    which already obligated insurers to write all comers, mean that all the Obamacare regulations are cost-saving ones there.

    In some states, where insurers could redline customers or redline specific health issues ("We'll insure you for everything except your lungs, Mr. Asthmatic"), the effect may well be to increase rates - because the old rates were not for the same services.

    The other way to cherry pick your numbers is to compare the new plans to only the old individual plans or to only the old/current group plans. Which group is currently healthier and less expensive to insure depends on the state regulations, which are very different. For example, in California, unhealthy people simply can't join the individual insurance market.

    Fry, don't be a hero! It's not covered by our health plan!
