Wisconsin is one of the states that is depriving its residents of the Medicaid expansion.  The state hasn't yet calculated the costs of jamming out-of-state broadcasts and the armed guards needed to intercept out-of-state newspapers.

Most of the laggards are in the South, but there are a few Northern tier states with very bad governors ("The Assholes Five", I believe they are called).  Wisconsin is surrounded by states with either the expansion or a "state alternative".  Even Branstad and Snyder aren't as blinded by ideology or party ambition as Walker.

Walker has already revealed his approach (at the time he announced that Wisconsin was going to be a holdout).  Judging from the nonsense published by the toady newspapers there will be a heavy reliance on obfuscation and fear.

I certainly hope you are right.

as the benefits continue to expand, especially when the exchanges begin showing dramatic savings for those who previously needed to buy health insurance as individuals rather than part of a group, it will become increasingly apparent to even the lowest-information voters that people are reaping more benefits from Obamacare in states other than theirs. When that begins to sink in, it should be the beginning of the end (for now) to the opposition to Obamacare. Having said that, much like Social Security and Medicare, Republicans will probably continue to devote the rest of their lives trying to kill all of these programs off...rather than focusing their time, energy, effort and resources on finding ways to solve this country's problems.  Returning to the past is what Republicans are all about.
