      about RS and this creep. Besides, Menino's a politician, so whatever he says, he's being advised to say it, and it doesn't mean crap.

      I just said I agreed with his statement, regardless of what motivated him.

      I have been terribly close to a horrible set of tragic circumstances and a resulting media frenzy around dead kids. I can't begin to explain how furious I was at the media vultures and their parent organizations making money off of it by sensationalizing it.

      I expect that RS's article is probably far better than most of what has come out so far, but a great article is worlds apart from rock star treatment, IMHO.

      would never existed without front page photographs of murderers and other assorted criminals. I give him credit for playing the American public like a Stradivarius. Even here, when Fox barks "jump!", people obey on cue.
