And I like beating up on churches as much as the next atheist, but do you have any cites or evidence for these inflammatory statements supposedly made by these churches?

examples are from first-hand observation. But here's a link to the no work, no eat meme: http://www.forbes.com/.... If you want more links, it shouldn't take you long to find them. Or, just go on FaceBook. These folks don't make this up on their own. If they did, they wouldn't all be saying the same things.

...they're made by their idiot adherents that apparently draw their own crack-brained conclusions from what they seem to think they heard in church. Or on the 700 Club...

A short detour thru the comments on any ordinary newspaper, particularly in certain parts of the country, reveals a stupendous depth of bigotry, hatred and and eliminationist rhetoric linked to assertions of religious correctness...

(it's actually kinda shocking compared to the relative calm here at DKos, on our worst, hair-tearing, maddening day, it's nothing like the comments in newspapers...)

And also at the pop culture site AV Club, where you have intelligent, well rounded people.

I'm living in America, and in America you're on your own. America's not a country. It's just a business.
