  •  Yeah, wonder why anyone would think of Nader? (0+ / 0-)
I'm sorry Obama turned out to be such a tool of corporate America and of the MIC . . .
Yikes.  Wait, let me guess -- "worse than Bush," right?  Or is it "A vote for Obama is a vote for Bush."  I can never keep the Naderite slogans straight.

Hey, you know who else "learns and changes" like Greenwald claims he did on Bush?  Phony opportunists who are trying to position themselves to make a few bucks.

Oh, and speaking of phony opportunists, what, pray tell, has Nader done in the last 40 years, other than giving us 8 years of Bush and giving the GOP the chance to gerrymander themselves into such a strong position relative to their actual electoral support, and thereby undermining every progressive position that he has ever claimed to support.  Should I give him credit for happily taking Republican money to third-party Bush right into the WH?  How many progressive goals did that achieve?

Naderland, where the good is always the enemy of the perfect.

    •  A vote for Obama was a vote to forgive war crimes (0+ / 0-)

Still trotting out that tired old horse: Gore lost because of Nader?

Let me help you. Here a few reason why Gore might have lost...

Gore picked a neo-con war monger for a running mate.

He actually got more votes than Bush in a recount but that did not matter because the media was tired of the story by then.

      Many democrats voted for Bush.

The supreme court stole that election.

Due to how the ballots were made, many people accidentally voted for Buchanan when they meant to vote for Gore.

In short there are real reasons why Gore "lost", and blaming another candidate is pathetic.  One could just as easily say Bush cost Gore the election, but I don't hear much of that.

Nader was entitled to the votes he got.  I love the nerve of those who lecture people of conscience on how to vote.

Calling either Greenwald or Nader an opportunist is not supported by facts.  Please show me where either one of them dropped the hard work they are doing for more money.

While you are at it, please point out all the men, women children they have killed, all the criminals they have forgiven, all the whistle blowers they have persecuted, and all the hand jobs they have given wall street... oh that's right, that was your guy, my mistake.

On another note, the Ds were so afraid of Nader that they kept him out of the debates.  They should have taken part of his message instead of going to the right... maybe that would have made a difference.

Banned for criticizing glorious-leader's policies ahead of the election... but I will vote for a real democrat if I happen to see one. Why do we need "more bed-wetter democrats"? Never mind.
