    to this op-ed piece which troubled me deeply. I watched all morning for a diary on the piece and am just amazed that it hasn't received more attention on this site.  Thank you for taking the trouble to write it up and bring it to the attention of Kossacks. Still, the response is underwhelming and I'm troubled by that, too.

    As so many have said since Saturday night's verdict,

    "What would they be thinking if he were their child?"

    Or Grandchild, as the case may be.  I have a 14 year old grandson. This story makes me weep.
