  •  I let my wife pick the shows we watch, (11+ / 0-)

from the vast universe of Hulu.

The one she's imposed on me recently,
    is Braxton Family Values,
    a reality show,
with the real life soap opera drama
    of the Braxton sisters,
    their divorced parents,
    their husbands and boyfriends,
and all the drama you can imagine.

    I'm  disappointed at times,
at the shallow and childish rants
of this or the other of the sisters.

The bright spot in the show,
is the only good, stable husband
    of any of the sisters,
    Vincent Herbert.

    Herbert is my last name!

    So,
if you want a truly good husband,
    you need a Mr. Herbert!

    Now you know.

Bringing a child into the world at this point in history is a crime, the crime of child endangerment.

    •  I keep on telling folks that these shows have (9+ / 0-)

to be scripted.  For example, the behavior and language of the female doctors on one of the "reality" shows.  I have known many physicians over the years and some of them behaved very badly indeed (ranging from adultery to MC fraud to car theft to domestic violence to attempted murder) but I never saw physicians behave as a group as these TV docs who are evidently true MDs with busy practices in Atlanta.  It would seem all of the time they spend fighting over various things would be consumed explaining themselves to the GA Medical Board
