I've heard of it, but don't get to SF as much as I would like.  Will definitely try to hit it up sometime.
There is a vegan stand in the Food Court of the Westfield Center which isn't bad for when you are in a hurry.

Funny thing about being vegan, when I started it in January for medical reasons I was astounded to discover that I actually liked it!  I find that I am never hungry, never have indigestion and always enjoy my food.  This came as a huge surprise because I thought I would experience it as a deprivation.

Of course, I am not strict about it.  If I go to someone's house and they give me cheese or meat, I eat what I am served.  When I eat out in restaurants, it is hard to find truly vegan dishes so I often stick with vegetarian items.    So far so good.

    It's the Supreme Court, stupid!

Ananda's food is NOT 100% vegan; you have to ask for that. But the restaurant is still in the same location, and no doubt the food is still awesome.
